Title of Article: East African Famine 2011 (Somalia) http://topics.nytimes.com/topics/reference/timestopics/subjects/f/famine/index.html
This Article is about how Somalia was struck during the Summer of 2011 by one of the worst droughts in 60 years. In Somalia, a conflict caused a depletion of food supplies over decades to Somalia. The drought hit with a particulary devestating impact. This drought has caused tens of thousands of of Somalis to die of malnutrition-related causes. Approximately 3 million Somalis are in urgent need of aid and more than 10 million are at risk. This is horrible. There are so many people dying and losing people because they do not have food to eat, this is causing Somalians to flee to Kenya and Etheopia for help although people in Kenya and Etheopia are in need of supplies.
To help reduce this issue more people should donate food for Somalis. The emergency care should give food to Somalis so that they can survive and live. The groups that can affect change are the local government and the international community. They can affect change by giving food supplies to the Somalis so the death toll can decrease.

How Robots Will Replace Doctors
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klein/post/how-robots-will-replace-doctors/2011/08/25/gIQASA17AL_blog.html
Who: Robots and humans
what: robots taking the jobs of doctors with thier high intelligance.
when: on tuesday, the famed clevland clinic is hosting an innovation conference in which clinicians will be competing against watson (robot)
where: Clevland ohio
why: So Robots can keep track of data and perform surgery on patients.
The significance of this event is that smarter computers will be able to keep track of patient history and data and be able to perform surgery on patients harmfully without emotion and unbias.
Robots taking the jobs of doctors will impact globally because soon clinics and hospitals around the world might want robots to do surgery instead of doctors. People might protest to this idea because it might cause doctors to lose thier jobs and people might just think that it is not right.
I chose john locke. This thinker will read this article. If John Locke was alive in todays society he might support the situation. He might support the situation because it is freedom of speech. John Locke believed in freedom of speech and the people in the article had an idea and spoke about robots being doctors.
